It sure is a beautiful day outside today in sunny Wollongong!
Today is an insane day in our household.... like super insane. Everyday is manic but some days are worse than others.
This morning Theo had to take my car to Sydney to get it serviced which left me with two monkeys to get ready for school drop off. I literally ran around like a chicken with its head cut off trying to get out the door by 8.45am to get to James' Pre School. Not easy when your ASD son wants to pull the entire house apart (he isn't a morning person.... gets that from DAD) and your 2 year old daughter is sick as a dog and wants to hang from your neck!
Anyway... we made school drop off! Ran his support worker through the list and he gave me the most beautiful kisses and we left.
Half way home Scar baby decides to nap, took the opportunity to grab myself a drive through coffee (and sneaky chocolate/coconut muffin), parked and updated the business social media.
Now I am home waiting for the gorgeous snot ball to wake so I can feed her and clean the house, oh and do 542 loads of washing!!!
It is really hard to do house work when James is home, he is sensitive to the noise of cleaners and or wants to help!
After I frantically clean I have a psychologist from Aspect coming for a meeting to discuss whether we can add a play therapist to James' already manic schedule! I am looking for a therapist to come into our home environment to help assist us with control situations. James really struggles with sensory overload and his way to deal with it is to control the home environment. NOT FUN, especially when he controls when you PEE, when you can turn the microwave on .... and so on!
As soon as the psychologist leaves its back in the car to pick James up from School. Straight to drop him at his Yiayia's house to get Scarlett at the doctor for 4pm!
Poor Scarlett has been sick for almost 3 weeks, I thought she was getting better but now she has bright green snot flowing from her nose! Poor chooba may need antibiotics... meh I HATE pharmaceuticals!
Oh and to leave you with a funny situation. Scarlett has been saying the F WORD! Like asking me for a 'fucking bottle', telling me to sit on the 'fucking lounge'.... I guess DADDY will have to watch his language now, and maybe Mummy too! OPPS
Much love, Sharna xx
