Second Blog post for today... Please read previous blog post for a positive VIBE.
According to my friend the TROLL I am not truly representing Autism. That James' feed (on Instagram) is not 'authentic autism life'. She or he or IT goes on to state that my feed is full of positive things and those thing 'simple don't happen in autism land' (There is more ridiculous statements but I can't be bothered too much really).
LOL.... I actually can't stop laughing. Is this idiot for real. Of course ASD is hard, its fucking hard. We have many meltdowns (my own meltdowns included), I sit on the bathroom floor and cry, I sometimes cry myself to sleep, I have to ask James the same question sometimes 50 times before he will respond, I am constantly cleaning up Sensory seeking messes around my house because Mr J man can't regulate his system, we can't go to dinner or even to a function with strange faces. We are constantly doing therapy externally and internally.
Autism is hard but it is also the most magical, rewarding thing in our lives. I am choosing to be a positive, a CAN DO filter bringing awareness to the ASD World through James who IS KICKING GOALS IN LIFE! Just today he ate a sandwich. He didn't have a meltdown at the supermarket and he allowed me to brush his hair. The purpose of all my media feeds in to bring awareness to ASD, showing you that anything is possible with the right mix of time, love, discipline and dedication. You can continue to sit in your negative little bubble that you have created for yourself or you can come into the light with a shifted attitude to show the world what ASD kids can do, show the world that they are different not LESS. Clearly you get something from our journey because you keep reading. Pour a glass of wine, grab a pen and paper and start taking notes, that would be a better use for your time rather than trolling me!
Peace out xx
Welcome! Welcome! Welcome to James' Health Journey something I started to help me get through the good days and the bad days, why pay a psychologist when I can put it all on paper right?! A diary where I could look back and see what worked and what didn't. Ultimately I want to bring awareness to Autism Spectrum Disorders and show the world that these amazing little humans are well AMAZING! And with the right therapies, endless love, positive vibes and support these beautiful souls can shine out away from the shadows! When James was diagnosed his psychologist said to me 'are you ready for three years of full time early intervention', my response was WHATEVER IT TAKES! So here we are..... Thank you for following us and enjoy the ride! @jameshealthjourney
