Morning! 8.30am this WORLD!
The LUCKY number this morning is 2... 2!
I am on coffee number 2, washing load number 2, James is onto his second bottle!
James is watching Youtube and Scarlett is watching those delightful pigs.... Peppa Pig!
Its so funny how children are so different and like different things..... I feel like there is always atleast 2 different cartoons playing at the same time.
James is in a Paw Patrol phase and Scarlett can't get enough of Peppa. They both love Mickey Mouse Clubhouse though.... so does Mummy!!!
James had a horrendous night, SIGH!
At 1.30am he was up with a raging fever and the RUNS! He did smash two bottles at that time which was actually a big positive. Back to sleep at 4am to be up ENERGETIC!!!
James tipped his lego bucket on my head and dragged his car mat out to the lounge room.
That wasn't the greatest way to wake up.... I am thankful that he is back to normal feeling a little better! All his therapy and activities is off for today though.
Man I have been researching heavy stuff this morning.
James is due for his 4 year old vaccination in January.
I have been researching the ingredients in that particular needle, the companies reasons for exemptions and then on the government website looking at exemption policies in our state.
Firstly, I don't believe that vaccinations cause Autism, however if you have a compromised gut which most ASD children do have then parents need to look into all the facts and make an informed decision for their family. Both my children are vaccinated up to date. Vaccinations are now compulsory in Australia.... if your child is not immunized then they cant attend schools, parents can't access parenting payments etc. I have read a lot of documents this morning.
I will be seeking an exemption for James based on his allergies.
James has FPIES and is allergic to a lot of different foods. He has a bad gut!
I have read the Infranix-ipv ingredient list and I am not happy to administer to my child who can't even tolerate cows milk protein. My gosh its petty overwhelming what goes into those needles.
I also read that some doctors surgeries offer a generic brand of the needle which has a different ingredient list!!! It's important that you research before you jab and find out what pharmaceutical companies needle is being offered where you intend to vaccination so you can read the ingredient list before you administer. You should also be reading the list if your child is allergic to any type of antibiotic as the needles contain antibiotics.
This particular needle contains Bovine.....Bovine is Gelatin. James is allergic to gelatin.
Exemptions are hard to get, parents must present their child willingly for the needle. I won't be presenting James for a needle, not now, delayed, this kid needs his gut right first.
I really pray that when we get to the point that I ask for the exemption I have his medical professionals on board. James has an immunologist, gastroenterologist, GP, dietitian and pediatrician. Surely most will be on board.
Anyway sorry for the heavy post. Immunizations are something that really pulls at my mummy heart strings. As parents we always want to make the right decisions for our children. I try to follow my gut all the time.... after all a mother is ALWAYS RIGHT!
