8am this WORLD... black COFFEE in hand and have been screamed at for the last hour or so!
I know my husband will be disappointed to see this BLOG up today. Don't take that the wrong way, he thinks that the weekends I shouldn't write. He is very supportive of our journey and my BLOG, he just understands balance. I DISAGREE, Autism doesn't sleep (LITERALLY, HOLLA ALL MY ASD MUMMIES WHO DON'T SLEEP).... so neither should my BLOG. Because I will always have something random to tell you.
This morning I woke to James screaming for me, I tried so hard to ignore him as I came in and out of my sleep! Couldn't ignore the constant MUM, MUM, MUM from the lounge room so I got up. I got up for him to tell me where to sit on the lounge, I wasn't allowed the TV on, and I had to cuddle him. Man he is so BOSSY. I thought I was BOSSY!
So then Daddy had to go to work. And to help mummy out daddy gathered the bottles from the bedrooms and put them in the sink..... WELL, that is a job that James does every morning. When James realized the bottles were already done it was WORLD WAR 3. I held strong, used signs and was firm with it had already been done. NOPE... not today! He needed me to put the bottles back in the rooms and he had to gather and throw them in the sink.
I am trying to really hold strong when James has his TANTRUMS (these are different to SENSORY MELTDOWNS). He has tantrums when he can't control a situation but he has to learn that you can't control others etc. So Theo and I are starting to really crack down on it 'POSITIVELY' of course. A sensory meltdown on the other hand is completely different and he has no control over that.
Its Saturday morning and I have already dealt with ASD in its finest hour.
So I did something impulsive because that's what life is about... Rather and sit here and allow James to be uncomfortable for whatever reason we are going to enjoy this weekend as a family. Surround ourselves in a little love bubble and enjoy the sights.
As I am feeling a little deflated I am going to give myself an internet weekend off. I am going to take my husbands advice.... you know sometimes he is RIGHT.
So have a wonderful weekend my amazing friends and we will have lots to tell you on MONDAY.
