We all have fears.
You wanna know my two top fears... I am going to tell you anyway!
Number 1: Sharks.... I am so fricken scared of sharks that I actually will not go further than my knees in the ocean because I think a shark is going to come eat me!
I will swim in the South Pacific though! Isle of Pines has the best swimming lagoon.... I have assessed the area and NO shark can access the swimming spot!
I used to have a recurring dream when I was younger, it was me on a rock surrounded by water and circling sharks, the water keeps rising but I wake right before the sharks are about to eat me!
Number 2: Toilet crawlers.. This one really makes my husband laugh!
So I don't ever actually sit on the toilet properly. I sit right forward with the fear that a spider or snake is going to come out of the water and bite me. I know, I know sounds insane and I thought it could all be in my head until a couple of months ago I watched a video of spiders coming out from the lip of the toilet!!! IN QUEENSLAND!
So I am going to continue to teeter on the edge of the toilet seat so I don't get BIT... you can do as you wish!
So I am currently sitting here on my lounge with a ginger and lemon tea. I can hear the birds singing. One nugget is at pre school and the other fast asleep. BLISS!
You all know by now how insanely energetic James is, he is like level 1000 as soon as he wakes in the morning.... lucky I am a morning person (daddy had to become one). Sometimes I just want him to sit down for like 5 seconds so we can have a breather but when he isn't home pulling everything apart and screaming at me every 2 seconds for something, I really MISS him.
Its funny because when James was diagnosed his psychologist told us that he may never talk, he may never be receptive or expressive etc etc. He bloody talks alright! He doesn't shut up ( this makes my heart very GRATEFUL) ! He is getting to the stage that in a doctors surgery full of people he will let everyone know that he has done a 'HART' (aka FART)... at the ENT the other day he did a series of tooting noises from the back end, then he announced that he 'harted', we ignored him so he repeated 'I harted' multiple times.... NOW if that ain't expressive I don't know what is!
Today my heart is grateful!
