I am getting in early this morning to write my Therapy. We have a huge day ahead, so when Daddio gets home from work at 1pm it will be on like Donky Kong! As you are all aware traveling with young children is hard but traveling with ASD is next level..... preparation is the key. So this morning I will be managing the house and managing the schedule of little Mr (making sure he gets his sensory input) so that we have a great afternoon.
Speaking of my WONDERFUL husband...
He has been coming out with the funniest things lately in reference to LIFE with ASD and my BLOG. So I said to him last night... 'Do you know that 400 people have read my blog TODAY'......
'People need an escape from their own reality so they sit there and laugh at ours'.....
I seriously couldn't contain my laughter. If you know us personally you will know that my husband is a VERY, VERY private man. He doesn't like social media at all! This statement is almost a realization that he has come around!!!
When I started this journey I started with an Instagram, I started with Instagram because our son was in the process of being diagnosed and I felt so alone. I didn't have family support as NO ONE believed that he was on the Autism Spectrum. A MOTHER is ALWAYS RIGHT!!! And I needed to find like minded people to help me in my journey! That I DID! I am connecting with people all over the world on the same journey as US! And it is so beautiful and refreshing! Cheers to that!
So this morning hubby had to wake little Scar Scar and I as we were still snoring our faces off when he had to leave for work! James has actually been really good this morning... Theo hammered the OSMALAX and I hammered the PRO BIOTIC ( Gastroenterologist will be happy with that)! James did 2 HUGE bowel movements this morning (SORRY) like most ASD kids he has GUT ISSUES!!! So this morning I have played with POOP. I have the stool sample ready to deliver to pathology ... now that I have that James will be treated for yeast overgrowth (again I will keep you posted with results).
I have also this morning changed James 3 times! Because there are water balloons full of water still in the bath from yesterday! James knows how to unlock the bathroom door (eye roll)... this kid can seriously watch you do something once and then he has it down pat. I do believe they call that a VISUAL LEARNER!
Also, James' immunologist came through with the goods and he can eat! We can eat!
Peace out folks,
