It's 3.25 pm this WORLD.
I have just collected James from his first day at Pre School.....
What a day he has had!
I was extremely nervous leaving him today, mainly because he started half days at a different preschool last year and was mistreated.... I pulled him out of that school for the last 5 weeks of 2016 due to misconduct. It's really difficult for me to put all my trust in another person when it comes to James. Last years incident doesn't help my trust levels.
BUT, I can confidently say that James is in the right hands this year.
I dropped him off to a very organised Director!!!! She was ready for James!!! All staff were prepared for him today and it made the transition smooth.
This morning after I had giving the director the James run down I went to James and said, 'are you having fun'? James said to me, 'Mummy go home'.....
I did just that, I went home. When I got in the car though I had a little Mummy cry.
At 11.30am I called the centre to see how James was doing. The director said 'sorry Sharna but he doesn't miss you'.... thank goodness I thought!
She said he had just eaten, used the bathroom and was in music class.... um come again? Correct... he was doing amazing!
James ate food today. Participating in all activities. Drank his milk. Did music class and used the bathroom. I have photo proof of it all... Another reason why I love this Centre!!!!
So I had a great day with Scarlett, went for breakfast and James' GP for some forms I needed for him.
At 2.30pm I walked back in the centre to collect James. He was happy to see me but didn't want to leave.
James had the biggest meltdown in the car because he didn't understand that we could go back again on Friday. He thinks it's over forever... poor baby.
We headed to kmart for a treat and he is now sitting in the sink playing with his colour change cars. Water regulates James.
I don't want this meltdown to take away from his day. He has had an amazing day and made me very very proud. A job well done James baby!
