It's Monday 12.50pm in this world.
I can't believe it is only 12.50pm... I slept with Mr J Man last night.
He had a horrendous day yesterday and a really bad night last night, he was screaming at hour intervals, seemed to have really bad gut pain too.
I was laying there thinking, whats changed??? Well.. GLUTEN!
James has been eating weetbix and apple puree. I switched to the kids weetbix, he used to eat the gluten free. Clearly he has issues with gluten, because since he has been on the weetbix he has been sweating, irritable, can't sleep, nightmares and bad gut pain.
We were up early so I took James to Pre School a little earlier and headed to the toy shop with Scarlett, to start getting Christmas present ideas.
Scarlett was so funny.... she pulled bikes off the shelf ( I allowed her too as NOT ONE person approached me in the half hour I was there).... customer service people, Toys R Us may need to train their staff a little better ( I will continue my reasoning for this a little further down).
As Scarlett and I were leaving the shop she helped herself to a kinder egg and a chuppa chup, she slapped them on the counter and said to the staff member in a BIG LOUD VOICE 'I LIKE SURPRISE EGGS AND I LIKE CHUPPA CHUPS'..... guess she decided thats what I was buying her. Man, this kid is so independant and knows exactly what she wants all the time!!!! EYE ROLL
SO, the chocolate egg went everywhere in the car... she was covered in chocolate by the time we got home!!!
Dad in car.
Off for coffee and pide.
Mummy spilt coffee all over herself (still wearing the coffee stained jeans 3 hours later!!!
Scarlett fell asleep in car so I got Daddio to drive me to the Wollongong Toys R Us so I could see what bikes they had, Santa is bringing Scarlett a bike for Christmas.
Out the front of the store was a Sophia the First purple 30cm bike for $60, the sign read 'As is. floor stock ONLY'. Perfect I thought, thats cheap. And Scarlett loves Sophia.
So I approached the young girl, I asked if there were any more, she said no its the last one thats why it's on sale. She then proceeded to tell me that there would be a $16.95 fee on top of the $60 as the bike was assembled.....UM, come again???
So I said the sign should say that the bike is $60 + $16.95 assemble fee.
I said the sign says, 'AS IS......that means AS IS? Am I right? The bike is built so its $60 as is.
So I was referred to the rudest manager and she was saying the same thing to me.... I wasn't rude, I wasn't arguing I just thought it was a joke. $16.95 is nothing in the scheme of things and if I had to pay the extra I would, I was just bringing their attention to a big mistake by THEM.
The manager didn't say anything back, she aggressively unlocked the bike and dragged it to the counter where she proceeded to ring it through the register, I paid and I walked out with the bike.
No thanks for shopping at Toys R Us, kiss my ass nothing. I wasn't even rude but was made to feel horrible!
Again Toys R Us may need to review their customer service training and tweek it a little or A LOT!
I am so for customer service, it costs nothing to be kind, you bloody get paid for it! Imagine how much money walks out of that store because people want to give their money to companies that provide a shopping experience, customer service is a big part of shopping experience.
Anyway, Scarlett is now underway for Christmas.... that's literally all I have done!
This is horrible but I have really enjoyed not having James around this morning... he really wore at me yesterday. I called his Pre School at 11am and they said he was fine so I hope he is having a great day, I am writing this now so that when I pick him up we can just all go do fun things.
CUE: WATER BALLOON FIGHT
Have a great day,
