Wow... Boundaries hey!
James is pushing those BOUNDARIES the last few days! EYE ROLL
Apparently though ( according to his occupational therapist) its a very positive thing!
It shows that he KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING..... don't EVER underestimate the amazing mind of a child on the spectrum!
In the last few days I have cleaned 2 beaches that have made their way into my lounge room from the sand pitt on the front balcony. To cleaning up Scarletts PISS that her and James (NAKED) where kindly rolling around in (BATHROOM) while I cleaned up one of the BEACHES!
Trying to ERASE 'washable' markers from my windowsill... Thanks ARTIST James!
To TODAY coming out of the bathroom from showering Scarlett to find James has found the chocolate custard from the FRIDGE and has artistically thrown it (like one of his canvas') around the KITCHEN...... do you know how nice it is to clean a litre of chocolate custard off the kitchen cupboards, walls and floor??!!!! I DO!
Now I don't turn to the bottle often these days .... BUT an exception was made for all 4 occasions.
Boundary pushing is a milestone so I must see this in a positive light! By positive light I mean with a glass of wine in hand and sniffing my Doterra BALANCE oil!
James is so alert and attentive these days.... He conversion in conversation is outstanding! He has come a long long way from the NON VERBAL 2 year old we once had.
I fully believe that this kid is coming out of the shadows! All ASD parents that read this DO WHATEVER THE FUCK IT TAKES! We do and its paying off big time!
James is a cheeky, naughty toddler! And that's just how I want him!
PARENTING is hard.... but theres always WINE! WINK WINK
Much Love, Sharna
